Ride Summary:
A network of fun single track.
Trail Description:
The Middlesex College network of trails is a blast! You'll find hard pack dirt, roots, rocks, logs, steep descents and more. The trail is loaded with obstacles as it winds through the forest. Have fun.
How to get there:
Park in the Middlesex Community College parking lot and find the trail head behind the school. You may want to check with a local bike shop first.

This weekend was my 1st. time here. I parked in the Community College lot. It was tough finding trails, but I finally found the trail head. I was mainly on the Blue/Yellow and Blue trails which is extremly tight trails around the ponds. I believe they were hiking trails. I later found my way across the dirt road into the power lines section, here is where the real trails begin. Lots of fast singletrack and lot of fun once you get into the power lines section. Now I just have to find a place to park up on the dirt road somewhere closer.

Hey, it is posted as a Week-end Warrior -type ride. The "fat guys" may have bitten off more than they can chew. Refer 'em to the trail guides.

I think its great that fat people are out there trying to get some exercise. Plus I think that the more people, the better. Everyone should be enjoying the trails and nature because the way this dumphole of a state is going, the trails will soon be a housing development.

Adam...someday you,re going to be that fat old guy riding your bike and a 17 year old kid (like you) is going to be saying the same thing about you that you just said. You got a lot of growing up hotshot.

I agree Adam, stay to the side let the fast riders go around with ease. But hey, lets not discourage or discriminate. The more bikers the better. In numbers we can make this sport grow in leaps and bounds in Connecticut. Enough people who don't ride complain about bikers on trails, we bikers need to stay together and support each other while we grow and become better riders. We don't want the "muscle guy in the gym attitude".

Adam.. grow up.. Everyone that rides should be given the same respect. The older heavy weight people deserve that much more .. at least they aren't sitting on the couch vegitating.
