Trail Description:
The Patchaug State Forest contains a medium sized network of trails. You'll find rugged terrain with loose rocks and hard pack dirt. There are big roots to negotiate. Be aware that equestrian folks frequent these trails.

How to get there:
Follow I-395 until you get off at exit 85 and head east on Route 138. Take a left in Voluntown on Route 49 and follow this road for .5 miles to the park entrance on the left. Park your car at the end of the road in the park.

these trails are for hikers only! bikes stay off the blue blaze!

There is something for everyone here. Miles of good dirt roads and plenty of very technical single track. Super quiet and relaxing out there.
