The Woodlawn Trustees are a group of residents that own a plot of land near Brandywine State Park. You'll find several trails with various obstacles such as rocks, sand, rolling hills and a couple of technical sections.

How to get there:
Take I-95 north to exit 8 and Route 202 north. Head down this road for four miles. Pass the big "Welcome to Pennsylvannia" sign. Don't worry, the parking lot is located in Pennsylvannia. You haven't taken a wrong turn. Turn left at the second on Smith Bridge Road. Follow for 2.3 miles and turn left just before you come to a single lane bridge. The gravel parking lot is .5 miles up the road.

This area is more for hikers and equestrians...a picnic park. There are trails but simply not enough of them. Luckily, you have Brandywine park right next to it to extend your ride.

Just discovered this trail system today and I was quite impressed. Trails kept going and going, passing through stretches of woods, then skirting the edges of farm fields, before plunging down slopes, with excellent views across the landscape. Many thanks to the Woodlawn Trustees for letting mountain bikers ride on this beautiful land.

More trails than you think, just keep exploring. Most trails circle around and bring you back to the area you started from. Nothing real technical here but some good climbs. A great workout for anyone. The wood chip trails are great after a good rain and add some additiona challenge. Don't worry about getting lost.

This will appeal to all levels. You must spend the time to find the whole system. It has rocks, water, flat, steep, technical singletrack and eacy double track. Our gang rides here regularly and never get tired of the challenge. Much more than meets the eye. Find a local for the fun stuff.
