Trail Description:
Myakka is one of Florida's oldest state parks. The terrain is easy to navigate. In fact there is virtually zero single track or difficult terrain. However, the surrounding area is full of wildlife and a beautiful canopy of vegitation.

How to get there:
From Sarasota take either US Hwy. 41 South or Interstate 75 South to Florida Highway 72. Follow 72 East for about then miles to the entrance of the park. Park and then hea to the the visitor center. Ride your bike along Park Drive and choose any of the roads.

From Arcadia take Florida Highway 70 West toward Bradenton. Go right on Florida Highway 72. Follow 72 for about 20 miles to the entrance of the park. Turn right into the park and head to the visitor center. Then follow above directions.

From Port Charlotte take Interstate 75 North to Exit 37. Take Florida Highway 72 East. Follow 72 for about 10 miles to the entrance of the Park. Turn left into the park and head to the visitor center. Follow above directions.

A huge circuit of trails. Bikes are not allowed on some paths. Please honor all signs. Bring bug rep

Not mountain bike trails, but good fast riding and lots of good road stuff. Alafia is way better. Have fun!
