Well maintained trail. The SW/horse track loop is fast and flows really well with nothing technical. The NW rock loop is, well, rocky. Its not slick rock like Dupont in Hendersonville or like the Utah/Colorado rock, its kinka bumpy. This loop has a couple of places that some people may consider technical but nothing sketchy. I ride a hardtail, single speed doaster brake bike around this circut with minimal difficulty, so there is no real challenges here. Don't be fooled if you're an experienced rider. These trails are fun and FAST!

the rock section is across the road from where the other stuff is. you can see the granite face from the road

Well am 17 years old and i've come to this trail a couple of times and it's great. last time i tried going with my dad and since he is a novice he fell and he ripped his tendons, so if you are a novice this is not the place for you. make sure you wear a helmet in this trail, and also make sure your brakes are working perfect.

I am what you might call a step below a weekend warrior, but I love this trail. I have raced in the 24 hr race there 3 times and try to visit this trail 5-8 times a year. This is my favorite trail around Atlanta.

(cont) the 4 lane part, and make sure your brakes are in tiptop shape for this section. Overall, novice riders should develop their bikehandling skills prior to riding here. The horse trails ARE NOT open to bikes. You are supposed to pay $5 per ride, but no one seems to do it, that seems a bit excessive since there is no portajohn or any other facilities besides a hose for water. Nice, well marked trails maintained by sorba.

Some may disagree, but to me this is the best mtb trail in the NGa area. The loop on the parking area side is fast with a medium level of technicality. There are several hard climbs including 2 along a pipeline rightofway. Easy to follow markings and no turnoffs or side trails to confuse you. (27-50 min riding time) The second part of the course accross the 4-lane rd is much more difficult, with a high level of technicality. There is a large granite outcropping on this part and the trail runs on this for a good while. Steep descents on stone occur. After crossing the 2lane rd it's mostly 1x dirt with a bit more of the Moab style rock. One stone ascent is particularly difficult, I doubt anyone but a trials rider could pedal up it. I honestly don't see how the "24 hrs of Adrenalen" guys ride this section 20+ times! The rest on this side is similar to the initial loop, but the hills are steeper, more frequent and there are less flats. Novice riders should shy away from the accross

I was there for the 96 Olympics the Americans got there butts kick finished 19 & 20 th. Anyhow I have riding it many times and it is a challegening course. The downhill are fast and the rock sections can be technical for those who don't own a FS bike.

I am heading over there now to check this place out. Just moved from Boston, mass area down to conyers about a month ago. I brought my brothers new mountain bike with me. Its a GT Avalanche 2.0. Seems like a decent bike but we will find out. :)

hey. im just a beginner riding a cheapo walmart mongoose. i live 'bout 5 miles from the horse park and have ridden it 3 times. it is approx. 8 miles. seperated in the rock section and the regular section. and it doesn't cost any money so im not sure what thats all about. let me tell you its pretty hard. there are some crazy steep looong hills. but im comparing this to only one other trail up in Asheville, NC. but i really like it.
