Trail Description:
This is a great trail that is a ton of fun. The directions are simple, just follow it out then follow it back!

How to get there:
Get on highway 127 South. Follow Hwy 127 until a crossroads turn on to a gravel road if you are going south it will be on your left if you turn right you'll enter a small town - you do not want to be there! Anyway go down the road until you see the trail head to the right or the left (there are both).

if you go to this trail pick the boat dock road side of it. The 51 side is extremely hilly/lots of b/hiking up hills. otherwise if you take the suggested route there is a good 1.5 mile downhill worth every bit of climbing you might do. and yes...the directions are purposefully vague so that riders will contact locals to find out the secret great locations.

The directions are still non existent. Out of towners still have no clue as to which "Gravel" road to turn left on, etc. Are the directions purposly vague to keep ridership down?

This trail offers a great little ride, from some intense down hill to some great climbs. This trail is one of the best in area. You can ride there Jamie is not a rider. The down hill double track is super fast and has an sweet couple jumps.

Directions-South on 127, turn left on boat dock rd, about 1 mile down the gravel is the trail head. Cedar lake trail is technically challenging. Add in a loop that encircles little cedar lake for even more technical riding. At trail head there is a less traveled trail that is directly accross the gravel road from. It can be looped if you know where you're going. Try to hook up with someone who's familiar with the network, not enough space here to explain completely. Try the SIU cycling club.

THis trail is not hard to find. Heading south on 127 there is a sign for Cedar Lake when you need to take a left. The town turning right is Pomona. Trail is good, some big rocks. The lake is close for a quick swim. The down hill to the natural dam has some good jumps. Don't continue on the blue trail, it a thru hike on the River to River trail. I follow that and ended up twenty miles away from my car, what fun.

These directions are horrible. You spend more time looking for the trail than actually riding it. You need to be more specific like the name of the road you turn on to and how many miles out it is. Im sure its easy to find if your from the area. But if your not from the area you might as well forget about finding this trail. and as far as a rating I wouldnt know because I cant find the trail. so ignore my rating I just put it on there so I could submitt this

Great trail that has about everything, including sticky mud when wet. Try loop around Little Cedar Lake about 3 miles into ride
