This is a great trail. I just went there yesterday. I read an article in the Oregonian that it had been reopened to bikes. After my ride, I stopped by the ranger station, and picked up a flyer for the trail. It does say hiking only, no mountain bikes allowed. Not sure why, I had a blast. The trail is well covered with pine needles, I caused no trail erosion.

Someone's got their info wrong. The Clackamas River Trail (#715) is NOT open to bicycles, but the Riverside Trail (#723 IS).
Before getting into namecalling, you might want to check your facts!

A really fun trail for the intermediate rider...several bridge crossings(caution: slick when wet)...a little bit of everything...rolling hills, steep climbs, root bundles, small rock gardens, tight/steep switchbacks, exposure, and great views. Trail starts about .25 miles into Rainbow Campground.
