Trail Description:
The Cholla-Mathis is one of three trails in the Aliso & Wood Canyons Regional Park. It is a fun intermediate ride. The trail follows a ridge around the park providing great views. Keep your eyes open for wildlife- bobcats, snakes and hawks.

How to get there:
The park is very easy to find. Take I-5 to the Alicia Parkway exit. Then head west for aobut 4 miles. Roughly a quarter of a miles past the Aliso Creek Road is AWMA Road. Take a right and cross the bridge. You'll find parking on the left.

not the best trail in the OC area, but so many options with different trail systems and loops, look at a map, figure out how much time ya got, and hit any trail there.. fun, fast, good climbs, and i still am trying to figure out what the comment below mine is talking about haha enjoy

dis is da best trail i ever urbanized on. there was plents of ma nigga brothas n sistas on dis trayl, supportin abolishment of trile segregations. making the white devil slave masters down there on trail 8 know whos riding des trayles the rite way

Don't a snob..dork. Aliso Woods is a great training ride that is local to many cities. It IS a park surrounded by development wich is a great asset to the community. This trail system is perfect for short night rides or early loops with lots of climbs.

It was my first time biking outdoor. I made it to the top, having fun going down. I went to fast that I went off the road into those bushes. Overall, good ride!

this trail is part of a very small trail network in the middle of suburbia, that the OC thinks is all that, because they need to get out more basically. not worth the trip, cool only if your in the area.....
