Trail Description:
If you were to average all sections of this trail together it would fall somewhere around moderate. While there are some easy beginner type sections, there are very advanced sections as well. The technical parts are super tight singletrack with short steep climbs tossed in for fun. And for extra excitement a few tight switchbacks will test your handling skills. Word has it that some trails will be expanded this year. Check out the park and explore. Doing multiple laps will be a solid workout. This is also a good place to ride in spring when other places are mud-soup.

How to get there:
Head west from Ann Arbor on I-94. When you come to M52, head south toward Adrian. The entrance to the park is just off M52 about 2 miles north of Adrian. The road to the park is after a Mobil gas on the right when going north on M52. Just before the Quality Farm & Fleet Store, take a quick left after turning past the gas station. Follow the road through the park, past the baseball fields and turn right at the Stubnitz Nature Center. Park here and look for the trailhead.

Additional Notes:
Other activities include bicycling, boating, camping (reservation), canoeing, fishing, hiking, horse

I found this place today and headed up there with some buddies. it's got some really fun areas! i biffed twice in teh same sandy spot at the bottom of a hill, but it was all good. there are some boards over the swampy area, but there is a large section where the boards are well-rotted and not really rideable. intermediate course with a lotta switchback singletrack, sand, a couple of really killer uphills, off-camber stuff, some log piles, etc. that was just a really good time.

This was great, but a little too hard for my friend that doesn't bike very often. Some sandy spots made my tires spin, but that is part of the fun. No one else was there, even on a beautiful Sun afternoon.

Rode them yesterday morning. Had a blast. "Big Bertha" makes (Fast Downhill section) it all worth the while. However, low riverside areas are boggy. I actually had to shoulder my bike and walk through parts of it. Black swamp mud if you know what i mean. All in all my favorite local spot since i only live 10 miles from it. Happy trails!

Great ride!!!! Some very tigh single track and a couple of short but fun down hills. Needs some maintance bad, lots of thorns and some parts are total grown over, plus there are some large trees down. Good spring ride but look out for the bugs.

First, this is in Adrian not Ann Arbor. This is the best place I've found to ride in the spring. It's really sandy so it stays pretty dry. There are some decent hills that will help get you in shape without killing you. Stay away from this place in the summer. It's not well maitained. The trails are overgrown with some nasty thorns.
