Trail Description:
You will start out, depending on which trail you take, on singletrack. The singletrack will go through a few water crossings and over a bridge. In some spots there can get to be very technical climbing and decending. The trail is surrounded by thick trees and a running creek which makes for a nice little touch.

DirtWorld.com Editor's Note

This is a very fun area with multiple riding posibilities. We suggest following the singletrack that parallels the gravel road. This takes you up the canyon. This trail is close to the road. When the opportunity arises, get back on the road, continuing to climb. At 1.3 miles (mileage for road) there is a clearing in the road. On the left hand side there will be 2 or 3 large boulders. Catch the trail that starts on the other side of these boulders and prepare for some FUN riding on sweet singletrack. Heading up the cayon there will be several spur trails - explore these opportunities. Be sure to take the singletrack on your way back to the car - it is a blast!

How to get there:
From Hood River, go west on Oak Street until it merges with W. Cascade and continues to Country Club Rd. Take a left at Country Club Rd for about a mile and a half. Look for Post Cayon Rd and take a right. Drive until the road becomes gravel and park.

Additional Notes:
Editor's Note: Hood River, OR is a great place to ride or recreate for a long weekend or road tr

Thinking about getting a car insurance quote? Car Insurance A growing number of people are dropping their auto insurance to try to save money, according to a recent study by the Insurance Research Council (IRC). If the current rate of unemployment continues, the IRC estimates that the national uninsured rate will climb from 13.8 percent in 2007 to 16.3 percent in 2010. With that many people driving without coverage, it's dangerous to be uninsured. But how much car insurance do you really need? If you're like many people feeling the pinch, your inclination is to get the bare minimum of insurance coverage required by the law in your state. That's a good place to start, though those minimums may not fully protect you -- or your assets -- if you file a claim. We recommend getting more than the minimum coverage unless you are driving a beater and have no assets to protect. Visit Safe-car.org All you need to kno
