Trail Description:
The Windridge ATB Park is a well maintained private facility that is perfect for intermediate riders. At 5.4 miles the loop is short but consists of mostly singletrack. The owners charge $3 to ride all day.

Visitors must sign a waiver before riding and helmets are mandatory. Pay the $3 and sign the waiver at the house located just off the parking lot.

Most athletic novice riders can handle the trail although there are a few technical sections with rocks, roots and short downhills. The singletrack is mostly hard packed clay with some sand.

How to get there:
From Atlanta take I-85 to exit #9. Take a right and go two stoplights to GA 34 bypass. Take another right onto GA 34 bypass and go approximately 6.5 miles (you will go through several lights) to the Welcome Rd exit. At the bottom of the ramp turn left onto Welcome Rd and go 9.5 miles to Glover Pond Rd. (Welcome Rd changes names 3 times from Welcome Rd to Handy Rd to Martin Girl Rd.) Make a right onto Glover Pond Rd. Go approximately 1 mile. Turn left into the driveway at 420 Glover Pond Rd.

Additional Notes:
The Windridge ATB Park is only open on the weekends from dawn to dusk.

The last time I went the dirt bikes had destroyed the place. Not near as good as it had been in the past. A guy there said it was strictly dirt bike trail. Is this the end of Windridge: LOOKS LIKE IT.
