Ride Summary:
A challenging ride into the wilderness of Central Utah. For adventure seekers only.

Trail Description:
This ride offers something for everyone. Ride length depends on you and the trails you decide to explore. The Book Cliffs are one of the most untamed areas in Utah. Traffic is light. The trail follows the Price River to where it meets the Green River. The scenery is amazing. You'll find petroglyph panels, drastic canyons and severe cliffs. The area is also inhabited by several species who nest along the marshes of the river. The trail crosses the Price River at one point and climbs up to the Beckwith Plateau.

How to get there:
Woodside is not much of a town but it is your starting point. 26 miles north of Green River, or about 36 miles south of Price along U.S. 6. you'll find a small gas station along the highway. You'll need permission to park here. Look for the smooth dirt road across the hwy. that heads east into the cliffs.

Additional Notes:
This area is remote and can be dangerous. Carry maps and be prepared for any situation. Carry plenty of water and a first aid kit. Help is several hours away.
