Trail Description:
Most of Kelso's trails are hard-packed clay, but there are rocky technical sections, rooty sections, technical ups and downs... a lot of single and double track variety. As an added bonus, all the trails have to be earned by climbing up the ski hill first!
How to get there:
From Highway 401, take the main exit for Milton (Road 25) north, turn left (west) onto the first main country road (2nd or 3rd lights) and follow the signs!

Great trail systems. Cons: park enterance fee, and the nasty climb to get to trails. Pros: Long trails, variety, and super fun ride downhill!

This area of trails is fantastic for any type of mountain biker. There are technical sections, fast flowing and downhill sections. You can park at the top or bottom depending on where you want to start your ride. The hard packed clay is great but doesn't absorb much rain, so it can become slippery quickly. The $7 bucks admission is well worth the price for a day of great riding. Trail markings are great and the one way trails make it a safe bike ride. This is definitely a must trail to ride in this area.

Great trails lots of uneven patches makes it a whole lot better theres parking at the top but you can also do it the hard way by biking up the escarpment lots of fun if your in the area you should check it out.
Amazing view makes the climb all worth it.

It appears that John and David Ballard are poor-spelling twin doubles who have something to prove about their masculinity. They probably drive really big cars. Oh, we Ontario pu$$ies are so impressed!

Excellent trails. They now have their summit gatehouse open whenever the trails are. To get here you head right up the hill on steeles and the Gatehouse is on the Right. They have a fee station there when there is no staff. Beats riding up the hill.

There is still a back way in, take
Appleby Line north of steeles ave.
before the road goes down a steep hill
towards the train tracks there is an
old corn field. cut in there, about 100
yards in you'll find the single track trail. awesome ride.

trail is ok. with the terrain they have to work with it could be a lot better. if these guys would offer lift access this place would be packed. I think this would allow them to expand the trail network and make improvements.

A good mix of trails from easy to moderately difficult. The loops are a bit short. My favorite section was the Xtreem trail-rocky, twisty and fast.
$7/person.
** Note: there is no longer a 'secret' entrance. The Steeles Ave entrance also has a manned booth. If you want to avoid a hill start then park at this lot.
