Trail Description:
This trail is pretty new (finished in November of 1998) and has a little bit of everything. Rolling hills, steep uphills, long fast descents, but not too technical. This is a multi-use trail that has it's share of horses on some weekends, but most the time, you'll only see a couple other people on the entire loop

How to get there:
Take Interstate 80 to the Foresthill Road exit. Go South on Foresthill road for about 5 miles. You'll see a parking area on the right side of the road. This is the trailhead for the short (1 mile) connector trail that goes to the main loop. When you get to the loop itself, you can go either way though starting to the right is best. Have fun!

The existing comments are way out of date. This is still a great trail, but there is a lot more traffic there now. On weekends it is busy but not crowded. Recommened ride direction is counter-clockwise. I ride this trail a lot and really like it. If you really want to make it fun add the Connector trail to it. I like to start at the Connector (starts on paved road to lake clementine)ride up to the Foresthill loop (3.6 miles) ride the loop and back for a total of 17 miles. Both trails have some pretty good climbs but nothing real technical. There are a couple of places where you might have to look for the rest of the trail a bit, but on weekends there are enough people there to help you with directions.

15yrs. of mt. biking and this is my favorite. Mostly rolling hills with only a couple of short steep climbs.

This trail was excellent. The views are amazing. The only downfall is that it is not well marked so be sure to take a look at in on a map! There were maybe 3 other people on the trail so you can get humming along! have fun and take water!!!!
