Trail Description:
Only ten minutes from downtown Cincinnati, and it's probably the most technical trail in the area. It's almost all singletrack, lots of rocks, roots, and off-camber sections. One set of trails go down near the Ohio River and then back up!
How to get there:
From Cincinnati, take I-471 South to the U.S. Rt. 27 exit. Turn left onto U.S. Rt. 27. Turn left onto Grandview Avenue. Turn left onto Ft. Thomas Avenue (at 4-way stop sign). Turn right on Tower Place and follow the signs to the park.

These trails are a treasure and not for those seeking a 'casual ride'. Due to all of the roots/rocks, do not attempt if it's rained in the previous several days.
I wanted to thank "jeffrey" and anyone else who's worked on this project. Thank you so, so much!

All of your comments made all the very late, sweaty nights and
weekends designing and building these trails, back in 1997, well
worth it! Thanks for riding them! That is what maintains them.
We wanted to bring the experience of our more natural, technical
singletrack to share with kids of all ages growing up nearer the
urban core. Over a decade later, it sounds like we are still
successful.
Thank you, City of Fort Thomas for inviting us to realize this
dream!
Does anyone know which section we dubbed "the bundle of
switches"?
Happy shredding! Now get out and ride!

if you go into the park, park your car by the tennis courts, there are entrances to the trails all around the courts, just find one. or you can park by the basketball courts and take the supply road that leads down into the woods. if both of those don't work for you just ride your bike down to the ampitheater and the trails start behind it

i grew up in fort thomas riding these trails every weekend as a kid, the only reason i give it a 4 rating is due to the ruggedness of the trails. they are not maintained, which is how i like it, but many riders wont appreciate it. anyone who does not have fun here must have problems finding the right trails, there are easy ones for fast movement and more technical ones with a lot of switchbacks. fort thomas is a good day of biking if you live close, dont make it into a weekend trip cuz in all my years biking here, ive never found 12 miles of trails

I have been riding here for 13 years....I actually live in Tower park and used to race here, this is not a groomed trail, thats what makes Tower park. Very tight and technical for a couple decent climbs, if you dont have all your senses going you might end up on your back...Anyone who rates this trail a 1-2 star is clearly a beginner with limited cylcing skills...If you can go fast at Tower you will fly anywhere else
