I love this trail. I ride it at least once a week. It's easy enough for a beginner, but has a few things on the side to put a smile on the advanced riders. It's not very wide, but if U like cutting through the trails at dangerously fast speeds, and don't mind bouncing over roots, then this trails for U. It's alot more fun since I went full suspension.

From I72 take the Vet. Pkway south twards Chatham - go past the car lots and panther creek sudivision - At stoplight for Apple Orchard Rd. turn left (east) cross bridge there is a brown 2 story house on your right take the next left (carefull its kinda hidden and a sharp turn easy to miss, iff you get to stoplight for Chatham Rd or Knights action park you went to far) this road merges to the right onto old 4 take it till you get to the power substation - park alongside the road and ride forward across the old bridge, Pavement ends and you will find the trailhead on the left (this side is just a big loop with a few nice hills) - When you get back to the car ride around to the North side of the Power substation (its all fenced in you cant miss it) Trail enters on your left.

this trail is more commonly known as lick creek, lots of roots, etc. the trail is off woodside road. U can go past the paved trail to the lone house on the south side of the road and follow the road back to the info kiosk cross the old rout 4 bridge to get to part of the trail then as u finish on the north side of the lake follow the paved path across the bridge to another loop . If u c the golf course u have gone 2 far. this trail used to be much bigger until they put in a sub division and the locols didnt want our kind riding to near their back yards, but o well still a grat ride
