The park is in fact called Tatum Park. However every August there is the Woods Hollow Classic Mountain Bike Race in Tatum Park. It is great for beginners who want to expreience competitve racing. 7.5 miles for beginner and a nice 11.25 miles for expert. Theres a mix of singletrack, a fireroad and an open field or two. There are some steep climbs in the park, especially in the woods, but a novice should be able to climb them. A bit sandy in spots but beyond that it should be a pleasant ride. For more info on the race or the park go here and look for Woods Hollow Classic. http://www.monmouthcountyparks.com/events/eventsmain.asp

Street sign says "Tatum Park". I live 2 miles away and ride it often. Lots of open meadow mixed with moderate hills; but you can make it more challenging by riding them in both directions when you double back. As said, sandy and with numerous rabbits, groundhogs, the occasional fox, and deer who have no fear of you (or at least me). Look for a new trail, just opened (with a few trees to jump) hidden back in the corner of the 2nd small meadow to the left as you ride in on Indian Spring Trail.

It's very sandy. There is only double track. Better for a horse ride. Which you will see alot of. If you live close it is worth a trip otherwise don't bother
