Ride Summary:
A super ride for novice and intermediate riders who are in good shape. 26 miles on a bike for novice riders may be a bit much. Nothing too technical just a long ride.

Trail Description:
A great ride for spotting Pronghorn antelope, deer and a variety of birds. The trail is really a well maintained dirt most of the way that ends several hundred feet above Price River. You can shortened the distance for novice riders by driving further out along Mounds Road. The road rolls up and down for several miles providing magnificent views of the Flattop Mountain to the south, the Wasatch Plateau to the West and the Book Cliffs to the east. There are a few miles of rocky terrain and then a hardpacked smooth dirt road. Once you reach the look out point turn around and head back to your vehicle.

How to get there:
The trail begins on Hwy. 6 about 3 1/2 miles east from the Nine Mile Canyon turnoff on the edge of Wellington. Park here at your own risk. From the turnoff follow the well maintained dirt road south along the Mounds bench.

Additional Notes:
Located in Central Utah.
