Trail Description:
Waller Mills Park features a 5 mile loop, very scenic, technical, lots of switchbacks and narrow between trees. Roots add difficulty and there are logs in the trail to add to the challenge. Half way through there's a bench to rest on and enjoy the view of the lake, a few rough climbs but not impossible. Good trail

How to get there:
Take I-64 to the Camp Perry Exit. Follow signs to the Bruton High school, pass the school (on left) Waller Mill Park half mile on the the left. Trail is right across the road from the Park entrance.

Great park but CLOSED. Freedom Park, just about 10 min away, is actually an awesome alternative. Very surprised how much fun we had there instead!

Dogwood Trail is definitely closed. Checked this past month with the front office. Told me to check out the trail @ Freedom Park off Centerville Road. Very sweet. Check it out!

Closed as of 01 April 2006. Did not know it was still closed and was a wasted trip. Does not appear that it will open again. Currently taped off.

Don't get lulled to sleep by the opening mile. The back half of this trail is tough. If one lap is not enough for you, take two, they're small!

This trail is perfect for someone who needs to work on the technical side of their riding. Also has some great downhills.

The trail has changed a little since the hurricanes came thruough and knocked a lot of trees down. The first half is easier than it use to be but the second half still kicks! I thank the trail may be a little longer now, still a great workout and some tech stuff too. Have Fun!
