Trail Description:
Very good beginner to intermediate trail there are a little technical sections. Pretty short loop. If it rains the trail gets swamped because it is a flood plain being right next to a creek.

How to get there:
From I-45 take the Rankin Road exit. Travel north on Kuykendahl to Cypresswood (about 4 or 5 miles). Left on Cypresswood. Continue West on Cypresswood about 2 miles, you will see a lot of trees on your left - when you see the red and white barriers in a dead end road on your right you are at the trail entrance. It is also called T.C. Jester. If you go over the bridge you have gone too far.

Trail head is behind the softball feilds in collins park, fallow the paved walking/running path till you see the trail break off back by the creek and head into the woods. Fallow Fence line to take you out of the park (real sandy area). This trail is really well marked, Fallow till you see a bridge (cypresswood road) cross the bridge and you will see the trail continue on the other side. This area has multiple trails running though it! They all meet up at the same place pretty much. marked trail takes out the back to T.C. jester bridge. Go under bridge. Trail continues for a while (at intersections stay closest to creek option). Once you arive at the bowl at the very end (you will know when you are there). Head back on the trail closest to the road, trail intersections always chose the one closet to the road side... that will eventually merge back to the trail the went under tc jester bridge.. Ride the rest the way you came... lots of extra trails then this explore and find more techni

this trail stretches for miles. There are marked easy/experienced trails, some pretty technical stuff, and people have spent time making this a nice place to ride. Maybe not a place to drive hours to, but if you live close definitely worth the ride.

I have never ridden these trails. Where do you get on the trails in Collins Park?

i have been rideing this set of trails since before i could drive. they are a blast to go with friends. as far as it being rated as a beginner skill level i would have to disagree. there are parts of this trail where you really have to pay attention or there could be consequenses. my friend and i usually go every weekend and ride it never seems to get old.
