Anyone know where I can get a copy of where it's legal to bike, the bruce trail is directly behind my house, but at the entrance, there is a big ladder type thing, and a sign that clearly states, no biking.

The Bruce Trail has been established, built, and is maintained by volunteers as pedestrian footpath. Please be a responsible mountain bike rider and ride only on approved mountain bike trails. Thanks

I love the Bruce Trail. I love mountain biking. I love mountain biking on the Bruce Trail. But, it is wrong! If anything, donate to the Bruce Trail Association. They are the ones who maintain this amazing trail. Try to resist the temtation ride in areas not designated for riding. Thanks.

There are some good parts to it, especially from Quigley Road. If you choose to go west past Dewitt, get ready to dismount, especially on a wet day. The mud sometimes is over 3 inches deep!

The Bruce Trail has several awesome single tracks with intense climbs, descents and technical. You need to know where to go. People who gave it a poor rating don't know where to ride. Consult a local Bike shop. Try starting at the edge of HWY 403 and move towards Stoney Creek. It will take a few hours. When your done, move over to the Dundas Conservation Park starting from Ancaster.

Anyone who nocks this trail for not being good abviously has not been around all the parts between snake and highway 5. There are some pretty serious drops and tons of nice technical stuff and some big air to be had. I just spent 5 hours riding it with my 2 buddies and I had a great time. I only gave it a 3 because I know there is better out there. Great for riders of all skill, but be casefull of the more advanced areas.
