if your a bigginer and wants to get yourself fit and build up endurance, this is the trail that you need to take. Do it 1 or twice a week, i bet you will be in shape and endure long rides esp climb elevations like madman. i heard the record was 45 min.......thats hardcore! but i would be glad to beat it someday. mtb rules!

This trail is excellent for the moderate to advanced rider.

The 6.4 mile hill climb is killer, but the fun is in the side trails. Just past the water treatment plant is a 1.2 mile sled hill that is a good ride. Also you can follow the signs to snowhawk cabins for the epic. Bring a map and bug juice!

I would hardly rate this climb as "advanced skills". It is a wide graded road for automobiles. It is a great conditioning ride (and very scenic), but it is by no means technical.
