Trail Description:
If you live in Florida this is the place to ride! This 7 mile loop is the best Florida has to offer with a 1000 ft elevation change (remember this is FL). This cours was built on an old rock quarry so you will ride from the top of some hills to the bottom of a quarry that is at water level. There are insane climbs, crazy drops, fun singletrack, and fast sections where speeds over 30mph is not rare. A must if in Florida.

How to get there:
Take I-75 and get off on exit 71 going east. Go till the first light (about 2 miles) and make a right. Head straight for about 3/4 mile and you cant miss it.

Additional Notes:
Hardrock doubles as a motorcycle track as well. During races they close the park to motorcycles.

i ride my 91 hardrock at the hardrock{tee hee!} and although my ass hurts when i get home, it is o.k. after a lil prep H. the hills come alive with sound and fury as i pretend to be a cameljockey flying through the desert at full gallop. all in all, this is like an extreme coaster at the d-world!

Good challenge, very good aerobic workout because it gives little time to rest between climbs. It is not just an "advanced skills" ride though.. a strong intermediate would have a great time here.
