Trail Description:
Very muddy after rain. Lots of roots and a stream to cross. This is a loop consisting of many small sections which makes it fun because you can ride it many different ways. A great ride for those who live in the city and don't have the time to drive out to the larger parks.

How to get there:
One of many entrances to the park is off Alta Vista Road in Louisville near the Presbyterian Seminary

These trails are great for an escape from the city life without having to travel too far the Louisville area. It is a good place to take your family because it feels very safe. If you get tired of the trails, there is plenty of road to ride on. I don't think that's a problem because there are hours of trails.

Fun trails. Watch for roadies and pedestrians with dogs. Great location if you live or work in the city.

great trails - only problem is bush bunny's every so often get a room sicko's, other than that - fast and clean trails, good after work workout.

They recently put up signs up that give pedestrians the right of way, and even put NO BIKE signs on some trails. Other than that the trails are pretty good. Watch out for pedestrians on some of the corners.

There are many trails, easy to find. Go to Hogan's Fountain, and drop over the edge for (IMO) the best ride - it's all downhill from there. One place has a cliff bordering the creek, with a 6-inch-wide singletrack, with only a 3 inch lip keeping you from a 30-foot drop into the rocky creek. If you try it, and win, you will be the man. If you fail, it's broken leg time. I have seen a lot of people chicken out, (including me), and quite literally, take the high road (a safer trail about 10 feet to the right, and up). I lived to ride another day.

A great freeride place. There are also good downhill sections. Also, great XC riding. Warning >>>>Fag alert. There are a lot of strange people out there. Just stay on the trails and you'll be fine.

I live next door, and I ride here alot. There are some challenging trails and good down hills. I enjoy living less than a quarter mile from these great trails. I consider much of the time I spend here as training for a ride at Fort Dufield.

Other intrances to the park include trails located at the corner of Grinstead and Lexington Road. Also, there are trails that start to the right of the Eastern Parkway Statue Entrance.
