Bonniville Shoreline

Trail Description:
Long rolling trail that goes along the base of the mountains from Rock Canyon into Springville. Being developed for runners and bikers. The part between Rock Canyon and the Y Mountain trail head is all double track and mostly small gravel. Between the Y Mountain trail head and Slate canyon is mostly fast, rolling, fire road The best single track is after Slate canyon right as you get into Springville. For a little while it is actually pretty technical. Then on into Springville is is mostly fire road that is closed off to motor vehicles. You can make a long ride by riding all the way from Rock Canyon into Springville (and farther if you want) or you can make it a short on by riding between any of the canyons.

How to get there:
Starting from Rock Canyon: Drive towards the mountains (east) on East North Temple Drive (East 2300 North St.) Past the temple to Rock Canyon trailhead. Park in the parking lot and the trail begins to the south of the parking lot.

Starting from the Y Mountain Trailhead: Drive towards the mountains (east) on 820 North. Turn Right when you get to Terrace Drive (the last right you can take) and that road will take you up to the Y Mountain trail head parking lot. Ride North to Rock Canyon (not that great of a trail for riding) or South towards Slate Canyon and Springville.
