Trail Description:
Rock Bridge State Park has many different trails to choose from and they all meet at some point. There are steep climbs and stream crossings to go through. I have seen many deer and racoons. It is mostly tree covered but there are some fields to ride through. There is also a huge cave and a rock bridge which the area is named after.
How to get there:
From I-70 take Providence Road south to Rt. 163. Take a left on rt. 163 and take a right to park entrance.

Great trail. Have ridden the MKT and other trails in St. Louis (Castlewood), but find this trail to be a challenge. Can feel the burn in the legs afterwards, which means it's worth it! Will definitely go back!

Every time I ride at Rock Bridge I find something I
missed before. At first I went left out of the parking
lot (when facing the Rock Bridge) which gives you a
nice climb but more grass trails later. Now I go the
opposite direction where I found one of the
prettiest stretches of trail I have been on. Here's
what I am talking about: cross the bridge, go up the
steep scenic trail and turn left at the bench. The
trail follows the ridge line in the woods, real scenic.
When you get to a T in the trail (nice jump just
before if yo see it coming) turn right, then take
another right a few hundred feet later. Following
this trail down is heaven. Nice semi-technical ride
following a beautiful creek that in wet weather is all
cascades. You cross this creek and then end up
riding across a bigger creek with a foot or so of
water in it. On Wedesday evenings Walt's Bike Shop
hosts a ride here. Lots to offer but you share with
hikers and runners so beware.

Rock Bridge is a great place to ride with a wide
variety of trails, but except for a couple of
short sections none of it is very technical. The
trails are connected from the Devils Icebox
parking lot and can be ridden to make as long
or as short of a ride as you want.

This is a great place to ride but technical it is not. Good trail for beginners and weekend warriors. I have taken my son on it with a trail-a-bike (he was 5).

This place is great. There are seven different trails that bikes are allowed on. All offer excellent scenery. The sinkhole trail and the spring brook trail are a good mix of pretty tecnical stuff and some level, windy, twisty stuff. All the trails are pretty short, but they are all linked together. stop and get a map at the devil' icebox trailhead and be sure to call 573-442-2249 first to find out the status of the trails. Some of them are closed dur
