Trail Description:
Starts out with a killer hard fire road climb out of Bordeaux campground - the first two miles are pretty rough. The climbing gets more gradual, but rougher as you turn into the North Rim trail. After about 5-6 miles of gradual, rolling climbs over rocks & roots, you are rewarded w/ a smooth 4 mile descent w/ many switchbacks and some nice berms (motorcycles share these trails).

How to get there:
Take I-5 South from Olympia. Turn on the Little Rock exit. Follow the road through Little Rock until you run into Waddell Road; turn right and follow until the road ends (Bordeax Campground - which isn't used anymore, but you can park there).

The WA State Dept. of Natural Resources has maps of Capitol Forest for a buck or two.

This trail is alright. If you don't turn right on Noshka you'll be headed up to the trails worth the trip you took. If you love long ascents this might be your trail. If you like ascents and descents, Head up to Capital Peak. Magnificent views and an all out ride. Also, you can get a free forest map at the Littlerock post office which you will bo past you take the suggested directions.
