Trail Description:
Clayton is a fun place to ride. Some fast descents (for souther new jersey) and some good climbs. The trails are in great shape and there are some really fun logs to climb. Kind of like a big BMX course.

How to get there:
Take Rt 537 West to 539 N. Make a right at the street directly across from the golf course. When that road ends make a left and then a quick right onto Emly's Hill Road. The parking lot is about 1/4 mi up on the left.

Great for everyone. Has everything mountainbiking is about, all in a loop just under 6 miles (if you ride all the trails). climb up, speed down, some log jumps, log rides...stay off the horse-farms, don't ride the closed trails, but have a blast

Short track that can really kick your butt from the long uphill climbs. Few short, quick downhills will get me to 31mph. Just started going to clayton and its a step up from mercer county park.

clayton has short but fast downhills and good climbs. definate cardio workout. not very technical, but overall an enjoyable trail.

i ride here like 3 times a week. i love the downhills. theres a pretty cool jump there right into a tree ride. i sesion that like 15 times every time im there. haha. i also found 4 other tree rides there. so if there is any freeriders who wanna build a skinny or two or even another tree ride, hit me up

I thought this was a nice trail, it has a little more uphill than i like but its not bad, and it pays off.. if you follow the blue square there is a nice long downhill, its rooty and it has banks, if you have full suspension it can be fun, i got up to 26 (mph) going down it. Besides that its okay, a few bridges, and other things, a nice thing to do if you want someplace to go on a sunday or sumthin

A great little spot to ride fast. Lots of quick ups and downs. Some sections with roots and rocks...but mostly fast singletrack with packed dirt. Some log jumps...nothing too crazy. It is a very fun little ride. Reminds me of a roller coaster with quick ups and downs and one long downhill. Leave parking lot to the left past farm field. Enter woods from there on bridges trail (not first right but 2nd). Then basically continue always bearing left...will eventually find yourself back at parking lot. I found this to be the best route...it is nice and fast. Go early on weekends to avoid any dog walkers and sometimes horseback riders. But, for the most part it is all mtb-ers out there. I would rate Clayton as "moderate" because it is bascally packed dirt surfaces (with some rooty spots). But, a quick fun ride for all experience levels.

not a bad trail if u like long uphills and roots. although its kinda rough i enjoy it very much. the log rides are fun.

This is pretty much the only place I've been riding for the last 2-3 years. It's a great place to ride. some really rooty sections, a couple pretty good long uphills, some rollercoaster ups and downs (most littered with roots mind you.), a log pile, a couple down tree rides, a few wood bridges. You can really get cruisin on some sections, just watch for those roots! Overall a fun place to ride, and a great workout. I wouldn't bring a beginner here, mainly for the uphills and the rooty terrain. See you out there!

Great for those just starting and still enough of a work out for the more experienced. More of a warm-up park to something great you are trying to sharpen up for. Good downhill section with short/medium range climbs. Nothing that will put you over the edge.
